How a self-help group or NGO joins Lagatiyal and keeps its records private.

Who can register
Self-help groups (SHGs), NGOs and other registered community organisations.
How registration works
- The person who will manage the organisation creates a personal Lagatiyal account.
- They send a registration request with the organisation's name, registration details and contact person.
- A Lagatiyal administrator checks the request and approves it. Organisations are not created automatically.
- The manager then invites the organisation's members and decides who can see or change what.
What you can keep on Lagatiyal
- Member records
- Monthly savings and instalments
- Loans, with the interest method and rate your group chooses, repayment schedules and overdue tracking
- Income and expenditure, cashbook and bankbook
- Meeting records and resolutions
- Documents
- Summaries and reports you can download as CSV or Excel files
Privacy between organisations
Each organisation's records are private to that organisation. Members of one group can never see another group's records.
About the reports
Reports help you prepare your accounts and get ready for an audit. They are not a certified audit and do not replace one by a qualified auditor.
